After the bad smells coming from the house where Vera Chikareva lived in the Spring District of Çankaya district, her neighbors informed the police. When the police crews opened the door with the help of the locksmith, they found Chikareva motionless on the floor in the living room. In the control made by the incoming medical team, it was determined that the woman died.

The police inspected the house and around the building. After the examination, Chikareva’s body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute. Police teams also examined the security camera footage of the apartment. In the camera recordings, it was determined that Chikareva never left her house, which she entered on Monday, November 30, and nobody entered the house. The exact cause of death of Chikareva, estimated to have died as a result of falling and hitting her head to the ground, will be determined at autopsy.
